She was predeceased by : her parents, Clarence Wood and Jimmie May Wood. She is survived by : her husband James Prevatte; and her children, David Prevatte (Debbie) and Patricia Magness (David). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lakeland Funeral Home (2125 Bartow Rd, Lakeland, FL 33801). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
