Mary Hunt wrote a sympathy message

“A note to my sweet Niece Karen, who has left us way to young! I miss talking with you, and will always remember the wonderful times we shared. Bob and I inspired your career as an Army soldier, and you were the best of the best! We were fortunate to visit with you in Holland at the beautiful Margraten Cemetery where all the proud soldiers who served in the Armed Services were laid at rest.. We treasure the times we visited in Annapolis, Md and did our girlie shopping trips, ice cream time with Grampy, and visiting cousins who were with us to share memories. I remember making you flower girl dress for your Mother's wedding. It was such fun and you were so happy when we hung together. Bob and I already miss you tremendously and wish we could have been there at the time you needed family most. I have so many beautiful, thoughtful momentums you would send me just to show you cared about us, and always remembered your Aunt Mary Ann and Uncle Bob You were thoughtful, loving, and free spirited. Rest in peace sweet Karen, you deserve serenity and now you will be reunited with family in heaven. You were loved and will be sorely missed. Love and prayers, Aunt Mary Ann and Uncle Bob! Karen, I am just now seeing this, I miss you my cousin. I miss your talks I miss your spicy commentary. You were at the top of your game no matter what the task.
