He was predeceased by: his wife Dr. Karen C Carlson; his parents, Wiley Phillips and Anna Phillips (Hoeche); and his siblings, Edith Stewart, Glenna Simmons and Richard Phillips.
He is survived by: his daughters, Andrea Phillips and Gina Webb (Carl Webb); his granddaughters, Danielle Steinhardt (Gunner Steinhardt) and Kaitlin Phillips; his great grandchild Alexander Phillips; and his siblings, Wiley Phillips, Leland Phillips and Dianna Thomaston.
