He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Yates Lamon (Don); his wife Frances L. Handley; his sons, Leon Jr. and Alex (Rhonda); his grandchildren, Kayla Yates Spears (Taylor), Tyler Yates (Preslie), Mackenzie Yates and Ella Yates; and his sisters, Louise, Argie and Ruth. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren and nieces and nephews and cousins.
