As Leonardo Pumarejo departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Leonardo Pumarejo may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Leonardo Pumarejo leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, María Badillo and Santana Pumarejo. He is survived by: his wife Carmen Ríos; and his children, Yolanda, Idalia, Mary Ann, Miriam, Mary Luz, Pumarejo, William and Erik. He is also survived by his 18 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (118 W Lemon St, Lakeland, FL 33815). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 3:45 PM at the Lakeland Memorial Gardens (2125 Bartow Rd, Lakeland, FL 33801).
