He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Janssen and Mable Hupp; his stepparents, Irene Janssen and Harold Netsch; and his brother Marvin Janssen.
He is survived by: his children, Joe Janssen (Colleen), Diane Peterson (Bill), Michael Janssen (Shannon), Lynne Jackson (Steve) and Tonya Langner (Curt); and his sister Janice Egertsen (Marlin). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
