It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Marie McDow of Lakeland, Florida, who passed away on February 13, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Lee and Bertha Maude Barberee (Backus); and her brother John Erle. She is survived by: her husband Wilbur Wayne McDow of Lakeland, FL.; her sons, Anthony W. McDow (Holly) of Howey and Dwayne C. McDow (Christine) of Lakeland, FL.; her sisters, Patsy Joyner (Ray) of Frostproof, FL and Barbara Stanford of Frostproof, FL.; her sister-in-law Betty Barberee of Avon Park, FL.; her grandsons, Anthony (Amanda), Travis (Chelsie), Andrew (Claire), Matthew (Lindsay), Mark (Sarah), Matt (Ashley) and Michael (Anna); and her great grandchildren, Logan, Keylee, Lydia, Kinsley, Saige, Rowen, Noah, Jordan, Leeum, Rylee, Aden, Leif, Rhen and Eden.
