He was predeceased by: his parents, George Andrew (Willie Love Gilbert) and Little; his wife Elsie Gilbert; and his children, Gerald Jack Gilbert Sr. and Sandra Dianne Muskgrove.
He is survived by: his daughter Tami Sweeney; and his grandson Jeffery Muskgrove.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oakhill Burial Park (4620 US Hwy 98 S, Lakeland, FL 33812).
