Wathen (Lakeland, Florida), born in Strawberry Point, Iowa, who passed away on March 25, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Jackson Shingledecker and Lottie Levina Cheney; her husband James E. Wathen; and her daughter Lois. She is also survived by her children and many grandchildren and great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandsons.
