With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mal Surrency of Lakeland, Florida, born in Winter Haven, Florida, who passed away on April 30, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Roy and Anna Mae Surrency. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his former wife Ginny Spencer Surrency; his children, Laurie Gonzalez (Otto) and Marc Surrency (Janet); his stepson Christopher Haeusler; his grandchildren, Lauren and Ryan Gonzalez; and his sisters, Gail Adams, June Silvernail and Judy Kimber (Joe). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
