She was predeceased by: her husband Lee Smith; her parents, William Andrew and Mattie Lee; and her siblings, John, Margie, Nelma Lee and Clarice.
She is survived by: her children, Marsha Smith, Elaine Piper (Smith) and Kevin Smith; her grandchildren, Charlotte McGahee (Hansen-Scott), Robert Lee Kabrich, Andrea Smith and Michael Piper; her great grandchildren, Margaux Hall, Mallory Hall, Javier Samuel Arce and Corrina Evie McCray; her nieces, Candy Halferty, Suzette Lozano, Jill Kemp and Karen Scrivener (Clements); and her nephew Mark Ellison.
