He was predeceased by: his father Matthew George; his stepmother Margaret; his stepsister Marie; and his wife Doris A. Gross (Foshee). He is survived by: his children, Steve Gross (Anita) and Karen Johnston (Mike); his grandchildren, Jessica Bixler (Matthew), Jamie Jones (David), Christy Baker and Joe Knight (Crystal); and his great grandchildren, Logan, Cody, Ian, Casey, Kylo, Taylor and Emily.
