We announce the death of Nona Marie Sumner (Lakeland, Florida), born in Saint Petersburg, Florida, who passed away on August 18, 2026, at the age of 70. Nona will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her mother Dolores Cahall (Scott); and her sister Bobbi Burnett. She is survived by: her father Robert Cahall; her significant other Robert Wayne Sumner; her children, DeWawn Sumner and Ryan Sumner (Dinah); her grandchildren, Dillan Sumner, Clayton Smith and Riley Sumner; her sisters, Michelle McLeod and Sherly Cole; and her pet Tilly. She is also survived by numerous extended family members and dear friends.
