She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Levy (Claridy) and Lonnie Levy; her husband Walter H. Gregg Jr.; her son James Dennis Owens; and her grandson Joshua Dennis Pittard.
She is survived by: her children, Dexter Owens (Sharon) and Dana Black (Bill). She is also survived by six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Oak Hill Burial Park (US Hwy 98 S, Lakeland, FL 33812).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to VITAS Hospice, in gratitude for their compassionate care.
