He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Oakley and Carolyn Oakley; and his wife Chansri Oakley. He is survived by: his brother Dennis Oakley (Rosana) of O'Fallon, Illinois; his nieces and nephews, Derek, Lara, Alaina, Caitlyn and Adam; his aunts, Marion Blasters and Elaine Twilliger-Watts; his uncle Donald Oakley; and his sister Sharon Oakley-Kinloch (Shar).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a local community charity or Veterans support group in Paul's name.
