It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phyllis Montgomery (Lakeland, Florida), who passed away on July 10, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, C. W. Mitchell and Stella Flood Mitchell; her husband Dallas Montgomery; and her siblings-in-law, Delrose Montgomery, Shirley Mitchell, Gerald McCarley and Dale Montgomery.

She is survived by: her children, Marsha Wilkes (Patrick) and Darrel Montgomery (Joy); her granddaughters, Amanda Franson (Kenneth), Kelly Wilkes and Dallas Montgomery; her great grandchildren, Benjamin, Joshua and Kaleb Franson; and her siblings, Melinda Mitchell McCarley and Jerry Mitchell.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Phyllis' name to the Good Shepherd Hospice House, or the donor's charity of choice.
