He is survived by: his wife Vimlaben Rameshbhai Patel; and his children, Yamini Patel Guilford (Fred Guilford), Parul Rameshbhai Patel (Wayne Burnett), Nikesh Rameshbhai Patel (Karen Patel) and Nimesh Rameshbhai Patel (Jennifer Patel). He is also survived by six grandchildren; and two great‑grandchildren.
