We are sad to announce that on October 19, 2025, at the age of 96, Robinson Rummel in Lakeland, Florida, born in Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Robinson departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Robinson. Though Robinson may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Rummel and Minnie; his wife Florence Rummel; and his sons, Bob Rummel (Linda), David Rummel (Phoenix) and Scott Rummel. He was also cherished by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Haught Funeral Home (708 E Dr Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Plant City, FL 33563).
Bob was a long-time resident of Plant City and Reading, Massachusetts, where he made countless contributions to the lives of those around him.
