Sandra leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Sandra’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Baker Layfield. She is survived by: her son Michael Hammons (Renee) of Lakeland, Florida; her grandsons, Aaron Hammons and Adam Hammons (Cortney); her great grandchild Maverick Hammons; her daughter Michelle Joyce of Winter Haven, Florida; her grandchildren, Devon Joyce, Lizzie Miller (James), Tory Joyce and Abigail Joyce; and her great grandchild Juliette Miller.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heath Funeral Chapel (328 S Ingraham Ave, Lakeland, FL 33801).
