She was predeceased by: her husband Reverend Gerardo Martinez. She is survived by: her children, Jim Martinez (Martha), Carlos Martinez (Teresa), Gerardo Jr. Martinez (Ely) and Rebeca Scroggin (Douglas). She is also survived by ten grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Florida United Methodist Children's Home.
