He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Schaal and Agnes Schaal; and his siblings, Gary and Judy. He is survived by: his wife Carole; his children, Scott Schaal (Lisa) of Lakeland and Sandee Cooper (John) of Durham, NC; and his sister Dianne Schaal. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
