It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Dale Armstrong of Lakeland, Florida, born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on January 19, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marguerite Armstrong (Heineman) and Dale Armstrong; his sister Ruth Friend; and his daughter Debbie Armstrong. He is survived by: his wife Linda Armstrong; his sister Mary Armstrong; his children, Sue Pantano-Haines (LaMarr Haines), Ami Armstrong and David Armstrong; his nephew Kevin; his niece Kim Walker; his grandchildren, Frank Pantano (Gabrielle Monaco), Gina Pantano, Mason Haines, Steven Bartz (Melissa Bartz) and Brian Bartz (Katherine Bartz); and his great grandchildren, Kendall, Kenadie, Mia and Maisie Bartz.

Throughout his career, Bill received numerous accolades recognizing his integrity, work ethic, and lasting contributions to the company and industry.
