He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Spires and Bessie Spires; his sons, Danny Boy and Mickey Harrison; and his grandson Michael Justin.
He is survived by: his wife Van Eva Spires; his children, Jackie Dryden of Jacksonville, Alabama, Royce Harrison of Auburndale, Emmette Harrison of Branson, Robert William Spires of Lakeland and Clayton Spires of Cairo, Georgia; and his siblings, Margaret Benning of Arkansas, Margie Ferrell of Ohio, Paul Spires of West Virginia, Ronnie Spires of Sebring and Bobby Joe Spires of Sebring. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
