He is survived by: his friend William; his brothers, Joseph, Daniel, Terrell and Gerald; his children, William, Curtis and Celia Speer (Duke); and his grandchildren, Aaron, Adam, Stacy Fitzpatrick (Duke) and Justin Wade. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
