It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Ruth of Lakeland, Florida, born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on August 5, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hattel Ruth and Pansie Ruth; and his son Mark Ruth. He is survived by: his wife Sharon of Lakeland; his children, Michael Chris Ruth of Brandon, Marcie Shearin (Mike) of Lakeland and Charlie Knight of Lakeland; and his daughter-in-law Angie Ruth of Tampa. He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
