Dennis Edward Bockrath Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Edward Bockrath in Lakewood Ranch, Florida, born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on July 13, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Paul and Evelyn Virginia Bockrath; and his brothers, David "Cork" Bockrath and Randy Bockrath (Debbie). He is survived by: his spouse Shea Bockrath; his stepsons, Brandon Bennett (Cherie) and Brett Bennett (Rachel); and his grandchildren, Alaina Bennett, Leanna Bennett, Kayla Bennett and Bailey Freeman.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Palms Memorial Park (170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church (12905 State Road 70 E, Lakewood Ranch, FL 34202).
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Town Square University Parkway located at 8450 Lockwood Ridge Road, Unit 55, Sarasota, FL 34243.
