It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis DeFouw of Lakewood Ranch, Florida, who passed away on October 19, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Phyllis DeFouw to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Sienstra and Angie Sienstra; and her husband John DeFouw, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Debra, Lewis Valentine, Douglas, Anne DeFouw, Denise and Andy Herrera; and her sisters, Sally Livezey, Mary Myers and Patricia Bensted. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel (2800 Burton St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546).
