He is survived by: his wife Judy Lee; his stepmother Nadine Lee; his mother-in-law Berniece Little-Williams; his sons, Robert Lee Jr., Marc Lee of Peoria and Kenji Mack of The Netherlands; his stepchildren, Tabitha Johnson, Brad Johnson of St. Louis and Charlotte Simpson of Lakewood Ranch, Florida.; and his siblings, Bobby Rutherford (Paula) of Grand Prairie, Texas, Michael Rutherford (Donna) of Peoria, Illinois, Timothy Lee of Peoria, Illinois, Corey Lee (Marcina) of Peoria, Illinois, Dean Rutherford (Marcella) of Madison, Tennessee, Benard Lee of California, Dennis Lee of California, Gail Lee of Wilmington, Freida Peary of Stockbridge, Georgia, Debra Lee-Goodwin (Tim) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Nancy Gayles of Peoria, Illinois., Becky Rutherford of Peoria, Illinois. and Bridgette Stuckey (Carey) of Peoria, Illinois.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel (2021 N University St, Peoria, IL 61604). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Camp Butler National Cemetery (5063 Camp Butler Rd, Springfield, IL 62707).
