She was predeceased by: her parents, Caleb Cox and Nellie Anderson; her husband John Henry Vann; her son Sam Vann; her son-in-law Lessly Coulliette; and her granddaughters, Jessica Coulliette and Audra Vann.
She is survived by: her children, Ruth Taylor (Levis), Jesse Vann, Dela Vann Carroll (Frankie), Jim Vann (Patricia), Eunice Vann Coulliette, Tom Vann (Cherie) and Jane Vann Sadler (Jeff); and her daughter-in-law Denisia Vann. She is also survived by grandchildren, great‑grandchildren, and great‑great‑grandchildren.
