He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Bernard Donegan and Letitia Wagner Donegan; his wife Priscilla Ann McConnell; and his siblings, Bill and Dorothy.

He is survived by: his children, Terri (David) and William "Bill" (Nancy); his grandchildren, Christian, Davis Hall, Connor and Carter Donegan; and his sister-in-law Sallie Potter (Tom).
