He was predeceased by: his parents, Weldon Nelson and Margaret Nelson; and his sister Patricia Tubergen. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Nelson; his sister Barbara Warren; his children, Russ, Monica, Zach Nelson and Jeff Majersik; and his grandchildren, Sophia, Jeff II, Lily, Amelia, Anna and Orie.
