We announce the death of Irwin L. Spector (Largo, Florida), born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on August 28, 2026, at the age of 101. Irwin will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his wife Edna Spector; his parents, Ben Spector and Sadie Spector; and his sister Anita Malzberg. He is survived by: his siblings, Sanford Spector and Barbara Certner; his children, Leslie Varkonyi (Irvin), Jason Spector (Hallie Hall) and Jeffrey Spector (Karen); his grandchildren, Julie Begani, Peter Varkonyi and Lauren Vaughn; and his great grandchildren, Ben, Joe, Edina Begani, Ari, Miriam Varkonyi and Casen Vaughn.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the South Florida National Cemetery (6501 S State Rd 7, Wellington, FL 33449).
