She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Burkey and Edith Hazzard; her brother Steele Burkey; and her husband Robert Schulkers. She is survived by: her siblings, Caroline Blacker and Peter Burkey; her children, Joaquin and Jessica; and her stepdaughters, Natalie, Krissy and Dianna. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lewis W. Mohn Funeral Home (9700 Seminole Blvd, Seminole, FL 33772). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. Jerome Catholic Church (10895 Hamlin Blvd, Largo, FL 33774). A burial will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Chapel Hill Memorial Park (12905 Wild Acres Rd, Largo, FL 33773).
