With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John L. Dean of Largo, Florida, who passed away on November 30, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dean and Dorothea Dean; and his wife Elisabeth (Oberneder). He is survived by: his children, Patricia (O'Sullivan), Jack (Yong) and Michael; his grandchildren, Melanie (Lord), Byron, Lindsey (O'Sullivan) and Jacob; his half-brother Geoffrey Dean; and his sisters, Patricia Wilson, Nancy Wooles and Cherie Hembrough.
