He was predeceased by: his former wife Margaret. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Dr. John H. Penny, Jr. (Ann) of St. Petersburg Beach, Margaret Penny of Seminole and James Penny (Sharon) of Williamstown, MA; and his stepson Ray Edwin Gesling (Kathryn) of Safety Harbor. He is also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren plus nephews and nieces.
