He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Claire Herring and Paul Herman Maeder; and his wife Sandra Kay Maeder (Cherry). He is survived by: his daughters, Tina Dugan, Susan Maeder, Teresa Valentine and Darlene Milliner; his grandchildren, Jamie Valentine, Jason Valentine, Samantha White, Amanda Huffman and Stephanie Marks; his great grandchildren, Jaxon Marks and Matthew Huffman; and his siblings, Barbara Walker, Grace Rossi, Marshall Maeder, Marvin "Duke" Maeder and James Maeder.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the 60th Street Baptist Church (9309 60th St, Pinellas Park, FL 33782).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Paul's honor to 60th Street Baptist Church or Suncoast Hospice Foundation.
