He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Parrish and Alice Parrish (Robinson); his daughter Lisa Carole Wright of Normal, IL; and his siblings, Thomas Parrish, Ira Parrish, Dorothy Davis, Irene Shewmaker, Mary Ferguson Parrish, Wiley Parrish, Sarah Doerr and LulaBelle Boulden.
He is survived by: his significant other Viola Helen Hickman; his children, Leola Bonham (Christopher) and Curtis Parrish (Karen) of St. Charles, MO; his son-in-law Donald Wright of Normal, IL.; his grandchildren, James Carey Bonham (Amy) of Largo, FL, Natasha Irvine (Jonathan) of Portland, OR, Karissa Waller (Mark) of Arnold, MO, Christopher Parrish (Jenna) of Wentzville, MO, Lauren Sugar (Michael) of Chicago, IL, Lane Aguilera (Eric) of Los Angeles, CA and Logan Martin (Zach) of Milwaukee, WI.; his great grandchildren, Sage, Selah, Caden, Ava Bonham, Anastasia, Sebastian, Vera, Juno Irvine, Corbin, Peyton, Barron, Kolten Waller, Tyler, Nolan and Wesley Parrish; and his sister Sharon Maynor (Richard).
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Parrish Cemetery. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Vergennes Wesley United Methodist Church.
