Wendell Douglass Vassell was born on April 7, 1956 in Kingston Jamaica to the late Wilfred Vassell and Enda Vassell Cooper. He transitioned from this life Tuesday, January 18, 2022.
Wendell was preceded in death by his brothers, Tony Vassell, Rupert Vassell, Lloyd Vassell and son Brandon Vassell. He is survived by his sister Genevieve Francisco (Oscar) of MA.
Wendell is survived by daughters and sons; Shawanda (Dwayne) Smith of Fayette GA, Marcus (Shannon) Vassell of Atlanta, GA, Karen Vassell of Elgin SC, Dwane Chung, Corona CA, Kaman Lee, Pembroke Pines, FL.
Grandchildren Autumn Platt, Christopher Platt, Peyton Platt, Dane Smith, Emanuel Vassell, Benjamín Vassell, Mia Chung, Brandon Chung, Jeremiah Chung, Sidney Lee and Imani Lee.
