He was predeceased by: his parent Shirley Joiner Gaskins; and his sons, Michael Tew, Jr. and Trey Tew. He is survived by: his father James "Jimmy" Gaskins of Starke, FL; his children, Emily DeWitt of Starke, FL, Ginger Jacob (Matt) of Winter Garden, FL and Jeremy Brown (Melissa) of Fayetteville, NC; his sisters, Diane Graudons (Kent) of Starke, FL and Jacque Bailey (Rick) of Ohio; his grandchildren, Zachary DeWitt (Kelsie), Brayden Jacob, Lane Brown and Justin Brown; his great grandchildren, Decklyn DeWitt and Holdyn Dukes; and his close friend Sandy Ellis of Lawtey, FL. He is also survived by several extended family members and friends.
