We are sad to announce that on August 25, 2025, at the age of 81, Leroy Ellis of Lee, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Franklin Ellis and Sarah Rhyne Ellis; and his former wife Patricia Thurber Ellis. He is survived by: his wife Rose Ellis; his children, Leroy Franklin "Frank" Ellis (Mary), James "Jimmy" Thurber Ellis (Kenneth), Wayne Money (Tonya) and Tricia Lynne Wade (Lance); his stepson Willie Rye (Debbie); his daughter-in-law Traci Money; his sister Virginia "Ginger" Carlisle Porterfield; his grandchildren, David (Jennifer), Stephanie (Jeremie), Tiffany (Bailey), Taylor (Josh), Zack, Sarah, Micah, Anna Grace (Josh), Zoe, Brinson, Braydon, Easton and Emory; and his great grandchildren, Colbie, Addison, Brett, Blayne, Paul Joseph, Faith, Halston, Greyson and Keaton.
