With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Y. Schwind of Leesburg, Florida, who passed away on March 22, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Barbara departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Barbara. Though Barbara may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Newton Pendelton and Corinne Yowell (Davis); and her husband William S. Schwind. She is survived by: her children, Susan (Bill), Mike (Tabitha) and Joe; her stepchildren, Gretchen, Billy, Anne and Kate; and her cousin Paula Whalen. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren.
