Chad Douglas Windheim Obituary

On January 15th, 2024 surrounded by his loving family Chad Douglas Windheim at the young age of 36 passed away from a seizure disorder. Chad was born on March 26th, 1987 in Elizabeth, NJ but currently resided in Clermont, FL with his wife Lisa and his three beautiful children Damion, Devon and forever Daddy's little girl Paityn. Chad grew up on Long Island, NY where he loved the cold and the snow.

Two years ago Chad relocated to Florida to create a better life for himself and his family. He loved spending time with the family he created as well as his entire extended family and he always lit up every room he walked into. Chad was a funny, caring, self less man and loved to show off and dance. Most of all he loved to spend his spare time playing fortnite with all of his children. The best heart to heart conversations were had during this time.

Chad loved his father Phil and his mother Barbara more than anything and would stop what he was doing at any moment if they needed him.Although not always on the same page he loved his brother Curtis with his whole heart.Chad loved being an Uncle and he was a cherished Grandson, Cousin, Nephew and Friend. Chad loved his cat Tigger. He also loved his dogs Sonic and Gizmo who had passed on.

Chad valued his relationship with his In laws James and Laura Schaefer and they were always by his side and supportive beyond belief! Chad will be deeply missed by his family and everyone else who has crossed his path in life.

Chad is survived by his two loving son's Damion (17) Devon (16) as well as his special princess who he referred to as "lil bit" Paityn (12). Chad is also survived by his beloved wife Lisa Schaefer, his adoring mother Barbara Windheim, brother Curtis J Windheim, his cherished Grandmother Esther Orlick, In laws James and Laura Schaefer as well as extended family of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. Chad is proceeded in death by his father Philip Windheim and Grandfather Harold Orlick.

This is not goodbye but we'll see you later. Until we meet again your memories will live on and we will forever love you. Chad you will now hurt no more.
