He was predeceased by: his parents, John Townsend and Mae Ruth Dennis; and his daughter Kassie Gannon (Anthony Blaine Perry). He is survived by: his daughters, Kristi Townsend, Kourtney Sulock and Claudia Mae Vaughn (Mason Lyle Vaughn); his sons-in-law, Anthony Gannon and Eric Sulock; and his sisters, Sondra Odgen and Beth Mitchell.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Beyers Funeral Home & Crematory (1123 W Main St, Leesburg, FL 34748). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Heritage Community Church (509 W Berckman St, Fruitland Park, FL 34731). A burial was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513-8914).
