He was predeceased by: his brothers, Phil Shaffer and Marvin Shaffer; and his sister-in-law Janet Shaffer (Baby Shaffer). He is survived by: his wife Linda Marie Anderson; his sons, Jason Shaffer (Natalie) of Columbia Station and Kenneth Shaffer (Amy) of Pembine, Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Avery, Reese, Owen, Megan and Charli; and his siblings, Donald Shaffer of Tekonsha, Penny Sievers (Terry) of Marshall and Lester Shaffer (Cindy) of Tekonsha.
