He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Buerstetta and Irene Buerstetta (Fisher); and his brothers, Kenneth of Naperville, IL and Jon of Tecumseh, NE.. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Grant (Jennifer) of Weston, CT, Aaron and Ann of Pittstown, NJ; his stepsons, Bryan Scherbarth (Jessica) of Omaha, NE, Alan Crist (Nancy) of Lincoln, NE and Jeff Crist (Acacia) of Lincoln, NE; his sisters-in-law, Esther Buerstetta of Naperville, IL and Ronna Buerstetta of Tecumseh, NE; and his former wife Eleanor Buerstetta of Clinton, NJ. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 8 step grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home (6800 S 14th St, Lincoln, NE 68512).
