As Eugene departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Eugene. Though Eugene may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Elton and Mary Jo Richardson Oldigis. He is survived by: his brother Edgar Elton (Jerry); his sister-in-law Karyl; his nephew Logan Elton (Casie) of Fruitland Park; and his cousins, Mark Richardson Marietta (Melissa), Richardson (Connie), Vidalia, Sue Jinks (Tommy) of Jacksonville and LaMerle Flach (James) of Mt. Dora. He is also survived by his classmates and close friends.
