Jean Ann James Obituary

We bid farewell to Jean Ann James of Leesburg, Florida, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 14, 2024 at the age of 72. Jean touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by : her parents, Merwin Wrisley and Lorraine Wrisley (Helmer); her former life partner Philip James; her husband James Fox; her stepfather Ross Cox, Sr.; and her brother Merwin Wrisley, Jr..

She is survived by : her daughter Beth Moore (Fred); her grandchildren, Jason Schwab and Melany Schwab; her brother Ross Cox, Jr. (Cynthia); her nephew Eric; her great-nephews, Adrien and Ezekiel; her uncle Maynard Helmer (Barb); and her aunts, Nancy Helmer, Joy Helmer, Mary Helmer and Francis Helmer.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lehman Funeral Homes (220 Rich St, Ionia, MI 48846). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at the Orleans Cemetery.

It was Jean's wish that donations be made to The Cancer Society to honor a friend that she lost.
