It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John R Hungerford of Leesburg, Florida, who passed away on December 15, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Hungerford and Bessie Mae Hungerford (Beals); his siblings, Barbara Heil and Dana Hungerford; and his grandson Evan "EJ" Hungerford.
He is survived by: his wife Molly Hungerford (Walker); his children, Lisa Hungerford, Lora Sisk (Larry) and Keith Hungerford (Linda); his sisters, Elizabeth Etheridge (Mike), Sara Bixby and Mary Goad; his mother-in-law Sue Abshire; and his brothers-in-law, John Walker (Judy) and Tom Walker (Denise). He is also survived by six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
