He is survived by: his spouse Jan; his children, Travis Merchant of Terre Haute, IN, Allison Rogers (Ben) of Leesburg and Stacie Fernandez (Freddie) of Tampa, FL.; his brother Gerald Merchant (Karen) of Lake Charles, LA.; and his grandchildren, Brooklyn, Londyn, Lincoln Merchant, Savannah, Blake Rogers, Leo, Arlo, Mateo, Freddie III and Elijah Fernandez.
