She was predeceased by: her parents, Marquis Julian Dowda and Thelma Culotta; her siblings, Claude Morgan Dowda and Delores Elaine Dowda (Don Michael Martin); and her great grandchild Maddox Morgan Wright.

She is survived by: her sister Shelbie Dasilva; her son Randy Martin (Vera); her nephew Stan Gause (Tara); her great-niece Donita Martin; and her great-nephew Dennis Martin (Kim). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Grace Bible Baptist Church (1703 Lewis Rd, Leesburg, FL 34748-9609). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
